Our Founder

Marcus Reid — Arlington Native, Fourteen Years in Asphalt

Marcus grew up in the Ballston neighborhood and spent fourteen years running paving crews for regional Northern Virginia contractors before founding Arlington Elite Asphalt. He noticed the same gap on every job: large commercial contractors didn't want small residential driveway calls, and small residential operators didn't have the equipment or organization to handle HOA or commercial work. Neither one gave Arlington — his home county — the focused attention it deserved.

Marcus launched Arlington Elite Asphalt to close that gap. The first year was residential driveways in Lyon Village and Country Club Hills. The second year brought HOA contracts in Fairlington and the Courthouse corridor. Commercial parking lot work along Route 50 and the Clarendon corridor followed as the crew grew.

Today, Arlington Elite Asphalt handles projects from single-family driveway resurfacing at $1,500 to full parking lot reconstruction at $80,000+. The approach is the same on every job: honest assessment, written itemized quote, no cold-patch shortcuts, and the same estimator on the crew.

Permit & Scheduling

We handle any required Arlington County ROW permits or VDOT filings, then schedule in the optimal April–October paving window.

Installation & Walkthrough

The crew arrives on time, does the work as specified, and walks the finished job with you before leaving. Standard driveway: 1–2 days. Drive on it in 3–5 days.
